CMU SAMS 2018

Rotating Marble is a remix that I made by adding to and altering this sketch. This project was created using functions such as wrap, orient, and move. Likewise, the rotating marble is initiated with the movement of the mouse. As a mouse is dragged across the screen, black side by side triangles within a single stroke will form in a string and slowly fade away. Just as the stroke starts to fade, small lines will start to appear along the stroke and around it in a disorderly way. Although the small strokes are disordered, they add a unique touch to the piece of art because it is unexpected and overall forms something strange and unique. I did not intend to add these many small strokes but through trial and error, this design appeared and I kept it because I thought it was something really different and exciting.
